some of the shops on the hollywood run have some pretty interesting junk shops. They even have a wig dealer there, it's pretty entertaining, have you been there before this?

What's funny is; i don't think i bought a damned thing there, maybe some wayfarers or something, but I think that's it, this was in `06ish (when i went)

What were you here for?

Vacation. Wifey wanted to see the giant sequoias and the gg bridge. We stayed at the Baldwin hotel just a block s of the Chinatown gate on grant.

Stayed in SF for . Days before heading to LA for the last 3 days of our trip. Gonna tour the Warner movie lot and we have a no wait pass for Universal Studios where we will ring in the new year.

Dude, the difference between Hollywood and North Hollywood is like the difference between Grease and Grease 2 or Sylvester Stallone and Frank Stallone, etc. etc.

Hopefully our sunny and 70 degree days will continue. I suggest Griffith observatory or Santa Monica Pier and 3rd street promenade if you like the shopping thing. PM me if you want any local's advice. I love pointing people to places of interest based on whatever they're into. THing about Los Angeles is, if you don't like where you are, a completely different experience is just 2 miles in any direction.

San Fran isn't exactly northern unless I'm misreading 'nor'.

Not that fancy artisan crap. Seriously amazing pizza. I would order easy toppings, though. They load so much on there it's hard to eat. Save a few bucks and still get a fuck ton of toppings.

San Francisco is the Bay Area. Plenty of people consider it a part of Nor-Cal. I live 45 minutes north of the Bay Area.

This is the best pizza in LA imo. I get the thin crust though which is more like regular crust. The 5969 calorie thick crust pie is just insane. It's been featured on those gigantic food shows.

If you're gonna go artisinal go to Mozza.

Catch an Earwolf production if you can, usually at UCB Theater.

That or Hollywood Babbleon w/Kevin Smith at the Lovitz, NYE.
