Sorry if this has been mentioned in a thread somewhere but for those who may not know this game is Saturday night February 4th 8p.m. CST which is also Super Bowl Eve.

Just pointing it out because I'm thinking Monday is DEFINITELY a day off this year. :)

Tough week, with a road trip to Baylor a few days later.

I’m just glad its on the day before the SB, rather than the day after. Watch parties don’t go so well on that Monday.

Yep... nationally televised and they've done a good job of filling up the arena formerly known as Qwest each year they market to sell out. And they've played up (and down :# ) to their competition the past couple of years, so it should be a fun weekend.

Holy Shit!Just got off the phone with my fireworks supplier and I've got two tickets to the game that night.Last year when he took us he treated us to the VIP bar upstairs (crown on the rocks) and seats 2 rows behind the tv announcers.

What's going to be fun is getting up early Sunday morning and driving back to Joetown because I'm hosting a Super Bowl party that starts at 2 p.m.

Tickets to these games are going through the roof. The game in Lawrence was slightly under $300 a few weeks ago (per ticket), and now I can’t find a seat for under $350 (and that’s GA). Tickets for Columbia are getting to the $200-$250 range now too.

I can't imagine what 2nd row behind the announcers might be worth.
