Nobody should know this unless they're a Dolphin fan.

I looked it up. Wow. But unless I was a fan of one of the teams I wouldn't ever remember.

I didn't answer one, but I got a couple good Chiefs trivia questions.

Who was the first Texan/Chief to throw for over 300 yards in a game?

Which team did the Texans/Chiefs defeat for the franchise's first regular season victory?

Correct sir.

Please proceed with your question.

I remember hearing that before and it made me think of how unlucky it was having Elway #7 in our division, and I clearly remember thinking, "Man, when Elway retires, the Chiefs are going to roll the division". LOL

Anyway, here is my question. Two parter, answer one or both for bonus.
These are tough unless you have been depressed enough to remember the franchise with so much promise way back then. Thought for sure they would end up being a dynasty. :banghead:

Cotton Davidson.

Raiders.

*BTW someone let me know if this is wrong, we later traded Davidson to the Raiders for a 1st rd draft pick that we used to draft I believe Buc Buchanan, and opened the door for Lenny the cool to come to the Chiefs.

This is actually before my time, but I'm pretty sure that Hank Stram brought Lenny in to be his new starter, regardless of Davidson.

Davidson was traded for that reason.
