Former Chiefs wide receiver Bobby Engram moved on to the coaching ranks after a long and productive NFL career, and now he will continue to do so at the University of Pittsburgh with new head coach Paul Chryst. The former Penn State star was named to Chryst’s staff today as his new wide receivers coach after spending last year as an assistant with the San Francisco 49ers. From the release:

Engram played 14 years in the NFL with the Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs. He’s arguably the greatest receiver to ever come out of Penn State as a three-time All-American and three-time All-Big Ten selection from 1993-95.

Engram still ranks as the Nittany Lions’ all-time leader in receiving yards (3,026), receiving touchdowns (31) and 100-yard receiving games (16). He is second in receptions (167) behind Deon Butler (179).

Funny thing is he was the 3rd best "Bobby" at WR between 2008 and 2009.

1. Bobby Sippio
2. Bobby Wade
3. Bobby Engram
