I've done this poll before but I am still ticked the NFL moved the Super Bowl to a late start on Sunday we'll try it again.....just in case Goodell is reading CP.

I've quit hosting/going to parties since the 5:35pm CT Sunday starting time and I feel the NFL isn't taking fans into consideration with the change.

When do you think the SB should be played? Poll to follow.

ps. I realize if the Chiefs were actually in the Super Bowl again we'd all take Monday off so it wouldn't matter.

In for Saturday.

I'm cool with that too, but I doubt the NFL would ever do it. They stand to lose an entire day of exposure.

Ah. You're probably right, but I don't particularly expose myself to anything having to do with the Super Bowl until they're playing it.

Sure, but you'd have to face your pastor smelling like that.

Me either, and I'm a huge NFL fan but I'm sure some people watch.

It's like someone on talk radio said two weeks ago (maybe Soren) the division championship games are the best because at that point it's still about football rather than commercials and corporate America.

They're still playing on the winner's home field in whatever weather nature intends.

The late Sunday start completely sucks. Either way I'm going to be fairly useless at work Monday.

it should be Sunday afternoon..3 or 4 eastern time

people can make a day of it, get shit hammered, and still get to bed for work...but they don't give a flaming shit, so it doesn't matter

I use a vacation day every year for the Monday after the Superbowl. I'm kind of surprised that I'm the only one who does that.

They play the games on Sunday, not Saturday. It has to be Super Bowl Sunday. Since its the biggest ticket of the day, it has to be prime time.

Smart man. I also take vacation or personal days every year for the first two days of March Madness, and Royals opening day.

What time does it normally end? I don't recall ever having to stay up extraordinarily late to watch the Super Bowl. It's much more conducive to the working man's schedule than MLB or NBA playoffs.

The Superbowl party, not the game, is generally the reason why I prefer to have the next day off.
