This is the last car tha Delorean designed before he started his own company. You can see the design similarities.

This is my sons car. Need to sell this baby this week. He's asking $2,000. Should be $4-5K but he did some cosmetic damage to the right front fender. You can't tell unless you get close.

Pictures on Craigslist. You can pm me also.

If the car sells by this weekend at what my son is asking from someone on the Planet. I'll give $100 to Kyle to help offset server costs.

I had a 1987 that was exactly like that, but it was black. I loved that car. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Drove it for something like 12 years.

Those things are tanks. Three weeks prior to shipping out for bootcamp in 1990, one of those t-boned me in my 85 Dodge Daytona. Totaled the Daytona. I get back from bootcamp and dude is still driving his Fiero around town.

They also don't get door dings since they're made from that alien technology body material.

Oh c'mon - someone's going to buy this, right?

I absolutely love that car, but I already have my toy car, not to mention the 10 month old sedan. Unfortunately the vehicle that needs to be replaced is the SUV and I'm not thinking a Fiero is gonna be a suitable proxy.

The Fiero is one of my favorite cars around. I'm really hoping folks are smart enough to keep a handful of those in good shape so I can buy one in a few years when I can't figure out what to do with a few thousand spare bucks...

Love the car... if I were in need of 4 wheels I'd prolly be all over it. Even more so if it were stick shift but alas I have no need.

Yeah we googled it when he first got it and we're concerned. But those fieros have some serious roll cages and frames. Better than my damn mustang.

He's straight. Actually pretty smart. He's 6'4" 245 and in great shape. Works out all the time now. He lives, works, goes to college in babe central. His issue is that he too damn picky.

I remember (I was 16 at the time) my buddy had one of those. Thing was louder than hell and eventually the engine caught on fire lol. His mom one day called me up and asked if I could come over and move his car out of the driveway...apparantly, Dad and son (my friend) were away for a baseball tourney (she had to work and couldn't go), and she didn't know how to drive a stick (f*ckin' women) and she needed to go to work LOL.

How many clutches have you burned through? (Or is it an auto?)

Those things were infamous for burning through a clutch every 30k. Other than that, they were fairly good rides. I almost got a burnt orange one with T-Tops for a 1st car. It had alloy wheels and a v-6. Peppy little fucker.

I read that and I thought, "So his friend was out of town, and his friend's dad was out of town, and his friends mom asked him to come over to move her car, and he went over and moved her car? As a followup question, I'd ask whether she was wearing lingerie when he knocked on the door, because I think he was missing out on some social cues.

I'll trade straight up for the Command Center. Built in keg, awesome sound system, new brakes, new tires, and only 36K original miles. :D

I've always loved their minimalist but darty design, they look like a little arrowhead, they also compare stylewise to some 80's Lotus'.

Where they really ****ed them up though, are the awful, plain jane interiors... no better than some base model Cutlass from the same era.

But i'd LOVE to have one that some of these nutjobs have put V8's in.

FAXyeah you spend about $800 to fix the cosmetic damage and it instantly makes the car worth $5-6K. But not my car and I'm not going to butt into the son's business. On the other hand I think I just spent $100 to help him sell the car.

Well ... sometimes, you just need to bail on stuff and move on. Especially if you have changes going on in your life.

I don't see how you should lose $100 on the deal, though. Actually, I think you should be picking up 10 points or so for your time and trouble.

FAXI've been giving the planet some money every month and I just noticed that the Paypal account had expired and the planet hadn't been geting their money. so its not a big deal. Although the planet isn't qualified, I'm into random acts of kindeness these days. Paid for a young moms groceries today that was struggling with a young kid. You could tell she was really trying hard and it had been a bad day.

FAXNot really. I've currently got a good paying job. A lot of people don't. And its not their fault. I feel that you should give to others regardless of your station in life. Doesn't have to be money. Spend time in your church, helping a charity etc. When some stranger for no reason other to show another human being cares does something for you..... it can change more than their day.
