Huh. Two of them I guessed in the previous poll. I must be psychic, or psychotic or something.

In no particular order:

Andy Griffith
All in the Family
MASH
Bob Newhart (Hi Bob!)

This heat is solid from top to bottom, but without a lot of all-stars. My thoughts:

#1 - MASH. Tough call over Bob, but MASH had more going on.

#2 - The Bob Newhart Show. Bob is still going strong with two shows still in the tourney.

#3 - The Andy Griffith Show. I'm fine with it, but it wouldn't have gotten my vote in a stronger heat.

#4 - Family Guy. I'm surprised that I'm still voting for it in Round 4, but it is what it is.

Didn't make the cut.

#5 - The Cosby Show. It's not bad, but the characters are too Huxtable for my tastes.

#6 - All in the Family. The characters are not Huxtable enough for my tastes.

I never thought the Cosby Show was anything more than mildly amusing, Family Guy has its moments, but in the end is just another raunchy cartoon. All in the Family and MASH just preach too damn much to keep me laughing...

I guess you had to be living the time when All in the Family was aired. They hit on so many of the issues of the day that weren't talked about much in private or publicly. There was a little bit of Archie and Edith in all our parents

It used to happen with some regularity on Family Guy. Some sort of blood feud.

I must admit that I also find the Conway Twitty segments on Family Guy to be kind of funny. Exceedingly lazy, but funny.

Makes no sense, you can't blame it on the youth, because some of the OLD OLD shows have done very well, and stood the test of time.

Time is catching up to All in the Family, the #1 show on TV five consecutive years. How soon they forget.

Family Guy- Probably my favorite show out there.

Andy Griffith- I remember watching very old reruns as a kid. Good show.


The rest i never really got into. They are much older than i am. Since i don't know them all that well, i didn't vote for them. Simple as that.
