We have ten shows, which will be presented in two heats.

In each heat, select your top THREE shows. There will be no mercy thread, and the top three vote-getters of each heat will move on to the next round.

#1 - Seinfeld. Kramer makes the difference.

#2 - Frasier. Niles makes the difference.

#3 - WKRP. Loni Anderson makes the difference.

Didn't make the cut.

#4 - Friends. Close, but no cigar. Sorry, Chandler.

#5 - MASH. Great show, but not the level of yuks that the other shows have.

4. I have vague memories of WKRP in Cincinnati from Nick at Night but never got into it.

I think it's the competition that's the problem. Back in say 80s, every show was a sitcom. A lot to choose from.

Take shows now a days. Seems like 20% of them are sitcoms. The rest is reality television. Just not as large as a sample size IMO.

I'm familiar with all these shows. Frasier and WKRP are the class of this round and none of the rest come close. The first three seasons of MASH are at their level, but the remainder of the show drags it down overall.
