So, I moved to a new place this weekend and it was a major upgrade for my family and I, however, we cannot get Directv because of trees blocking the signal. IMO its now a downgrade lol.

My question is, is the Sunday Ticket via PS3 identical to Directv's Sunday Ticket? Thanks for any inputs.

It was something like $340 if I remember correctly.

My solution......cut down all the trees!

Yes it's pretty much like the DTV version except it streams through the Internet via an app you download on the PS3. It worked fine all last season for me except for a major screwup week 1 which affected most of the country.

It's definitely closer to $340 than $60. It's basically the main price for NFLST, but no discounts allowed.

I wouldn't pay $340 to watch this shitty team play!

PS3 ticket sucked for me. You're putting your faith in your isp to be able to deliver HD stream seamlessly. Good luck.

I had the SAME EXACT issue before last season. New home, major upgrade, trees galore. My solution was to mount the dish on the back corner of a detached garage, cut down the limbs necessary, then tell the idiots how to do their job. Make sure they bury any line if they mount it away from the house. The guys who did mine tried to get away with covering the coax with mulch in the flower bed. Not happening.

Do you have to be hooked up to the Internet?

Not if you buy the magic dust from NFL Network.
