Alabama's Trent Richardson, the top RB in this draft, had minor knee scope 3 weeks ago, and won't do on-field drills at the combine...

Was watching Wyche on NFL network this am. He thinks that Richardson falls out of the top 10. He also mentioned that the Jets might be interested in Richardson.
I like Richardson and would be fine with us picking him. But if we could trade down with the Jets at 16 and get another pick it would be worth considering.

I like Richardson and would be fine with us picking him. But if we could trade down with the Jets at 16 and get another pick it would be worth considering.

Absolutely. While I like Richardson, I still don't like generally drafting RBs in the 1st. If we have any chance to trade down, I think that makes much more sense.

He's also going to miss Alabama's pro day. The reports are coming out the procedure was more serious than originally indicated.

Alabama's pro day is like March 7th. Somebody posted in the lounge that Richardson will be working out on March 27th.

knee issues for a running back are always a big deal ... so is any foot/toe/ lisfranc-ish injury.
