I grew up on this stuff. My favorite location is a block north of US 40 and Blue Ridge Cutoff. It's the most retro-looking surviving restaurant. That's just about a mile north of Arrowhead.

Another longtime location is US 24 and River, about a 1/4 mile west of the Truman Library.

Got my fix. The one at 40 highway and Blue Ridge Cutoff was not very busy. Of course, it was only 10:45 in the morning, they will probably pick up business later on.

Their special sauce seems to be a blend of Ketchup and Miracle Whip. Yuck x2. I've never been impressed.

I might stop by for a burger today since they're cheap and since I'll be in the area, but it will be without the sauce.

50 HWY - yes I remember that - I was walking there one night as I used to live in Robin Hills Apts in 89 or so anyhow; this white Mustang tried to run us over. I think it was someone older in High School fucking with us. Scared the hell out of me.
