Here's a twist, a theory, the Chiefs knew Denver would not like having Manning in KC and offering up a contract, without a visit. Then after the Donkey's go all in, Manning makes an official visit to KC, say late tomorrow or Monday ?

A lot of hush hush things are in place since it was first mentioned the Chiefs were the only team to offer a contract. Bowlen couldn't fly fast enough to Miami.
