The way I look at it, he knows he might be stuck with him even as a backup, and you don't want to throw him on the bus in case your replacement for him gets knocked out and you have to run him on the field. I am not saying we are going to talk to him at all. Hypothetically though he could have told them he will meet them and they just didn't announce it. Again, not saying thats true, but offending the Chiefs is not going to play a part in this. If the Chiefs are going to get a shot, odds are Peyton's camp just asked them to let him go through the other teams he already had scheduled first.
