Looks like #2 TE, RT and #2 RB are what we are looking at to fill immediately (Priority).

I'm liking the depth that we will have if we sign them.

I know we need a #1 QB and a #1 NT but im not surprised how FA has shaped up so far...

At the end of the day, i think our depth will look much better and this team is going to look better than 2011's roster.

And let's not forget we're getting back Jamaal Charles, Tony Moeaki, and Eric Berry next year. That's just like acquiring three big-time free agents for free!

Hillis = Jones
Boss = Pope
Tolbert and Winston would be an upgrade. Still no answer about NT and QB. IMO 2012 Chiefs = 2011 Chiefs. No QB competition.

Upgrading "depth" is simply re-arranging the deck chairs on the sinking Titanic as Clark, Fat Scott and Cassel drive this franchise into the ground.

Pioli will work on the depth on our kickoff coverage with the rest of FA.

He remains diligent in that regard.

I didnt intend to be sarcastic, cant speak for SNR but i dont believe he was being witty, either.

We've all read Hunt-Piolis interviews from months past where they're already trumpeting the return of those players, almost as if to pre-emptively tamp down any 'big fan pipe dreams'.

Really never envisioned myself being negative bob like this, i hate it, but wont deny what i'm seeing.

They really ARE coming off as cheap so far this year imo, this team COULD win big right now, given just two or three real players... as management continues to hoard money for a STRUCK PURE LIGHTNIN ON THE CHEAP! future that may never come, real difference makers like Charles, DJ & Bowe get another day older.

ps - i have no idea if this rant addresses your post, i'm just feeling edgy about this whole damn offseason.

Has everyone forgotten that we just lost Carr....that's a big hole on one side of the field. Can't expect the former faider to be that good can we?

I dont understand the musical chairs of FA.

For instance if we sign Tolbert, and SD signs Mcclain... why didn't we just both keep our own guys, is each team thinking they're outsmarting the other by doing this?

A #2 TE and a back-up RB won't solve those problems.
