If rounds 4 thru 7 went like that I would be fine and dandy. Don't like 1 and 2 at all.

What we need is a thread with the top NFL experts first round mocks. I always look for one, but never find it :(

Why? They are no more accurate with their mocks than Joe blow fan. It's all a guessing game outside maybe the top 2 picks because every GM holds his cards to his chest. Like he should.

Don't believe Molk will last to the 7th round. If we don't take a QB in the first then don't take one at all.

Fletcher Cox is being talked about as a top 10 draft pick. If the Panthers want to go DT, no way they take Poe over him.

That's a pretty good mock.
Makes the middle part of that defense really stout.
Also gives us much needed depth...and maybe a new starter at Center in a year or two.

I'm really down on Ta'amu. He was dominated when Wash played good teams this eyar.

Because i enjoy them. gives me something to read over. Just like everyone doing their own.

I like this mock, but would take another OL instead of RB

I'm really down on Ta'amu. He was dominated when Wash played good teams this eyar.I've backed off of him simply because I don't think we should draft a nose this year. Again, if we're going to draft one let's do it the right way. Gregg might come back. If he does, I think we'll be fine for another season. Vince Wilfork simply isn't in this draft.

Next year, however, is a different story. If we trade away a draft pick or two going into next year it's possible that we'll have enough ammo to move up and draft a QB AND still have a high quality nose tackle sitting there waiting for us at the end of the 1st round, or even in the 2nd. There could be four guys with a chance at being a dominant 0 for 3-4 teams.

I'm thinking Kuechly might actually be the best choice. But I'd almost rather trade down and take Hightower, imagine that guy in the middle of our defense? But he's a hard hitter, and he'll probably be out of the league for hitting someone too hard a few times with the way the NFL is going.

What's not to like about Ta'amu in the 2nd?

Josh Chapman fits better and doesn't disappear in big games.

Some said Jags might take Cox, I'll kill Smith if he does something stupid like that and not address the WR position with damn Lee Evans and Laurent Robinson as our top 2 WRs.
