Same here. That way you can pull out your wallet while using your dominant (right) hand for other things AND/OR use the right hand to pull things out of said wallet.

It seems that if you are right handed and you pull out your wallet with that hand, you'd then have to switch hands or use your gimpy left to manipulate the items in the wallet.

When I carried a wallet, it was right rear. I"ve been carrying a money clip for more than a year now, and it goes in the right front. Keys go in left front.

Cell phone left front. Wallet and keys right front. I generally wear shorts or sweats so rear pockets aren't even an option, but even on the rare occasions where I'm in jeans or casual I have never, ever used the rear pockets.

That's the exact same as me but opposite since I am right-handed. And replace pens/cloth with money-clip. Receipts and all other junk (matchbooks, business cards, etc) go behind passport in right rear.
