I just wanted to send a shout out to BigRedChief. Most of you don't know, but I am a grunt in the 82nd airborne and I am currently in Afghanistan. Yesterday, after a long week of field work, I came back to the FOB to recharge and what do I see? 2 care packages from BRC. Well me and my boys enjoyed the snacks and we thank you, bud. HOOAH

Very cool. Small things like that are very important when you're in a alien world.

As much as I's like to take a bow, I'm just the project manager and kicking in the shipping money and paypal fees. It's the planet thats buying the goodies that goes into the packages. This is a community thing. It's a win-win for everyone.

It's not about shipping some peanuts, jerkey and batteries to the troops, its about showing them that people care and are thinking about them back home. Just wanted to show a little appreciation for their sacrifice.

If that appreciation is returned from the troops, its the Planet communities doing, not mine.
