Chandler Harnish from Northern Illinois would be good. There was also that Washburn guy we worked out that looked really good from what little I saw on the highlight video put together by his team.

Pretty much some guy expendable yet competitive enough to keep the roster interesting. Maybe he lucks out and sticks around as a 3rd stringer going into next year.

Absolutely. Do not waste a draft pick on some awful QB and tell the fans that they are "competition" for the starting job. That kid from Washburn can come in as UDFA. There is nothing left. Oh, and get rid of Dick Stanzi. And Matt Cassel. Jerrell Powe would probably be a better QB.
