I just had some LJS not too long ago on a trip to visit my sister in Sacramento. I was stunned to notice that they offer vegetables. I grabbed my chicken planks/fish...thing/french fries/hush puppies plate and added an order of hush puppies to go with it. Why? Because hush puppies. That's why.

I mean how can they even call that a filet? it wasn't even 2oz of fish. Then let's mention these damn chicken scrapings they call strips. More like strips of scrapings out of the corners of the strip machine. Breaded with about 200% more breading than needed just to make the consumer think they are actually eating something. You just know the CEO's of that company laugh all the way to the bank every time someone orders a chicken strip from them. I couldn't imagine the cost to them being over 20 cents each per strip given the lack of meat in them.

The fries are usually soggy too. How they hell can a place that specializes in deep fried food have soggy fries??? I mean you haven't even mastered the fry game yet? As Travis Kelce would say....PFFFFTSHHHHHH!!!!

The Louisville-based chain will offer "all you can eat" fried fish, chicken and sides with prices starting at $7.99 from Feb. 17-25, it said in a press release.

Then, for Lent, which is from Feb. 26 to April 9 this year, Long John Silver's will offer a "two for $6" menu with items like shrimp, crab cakes, Alaska Pollock and chicken tenders, as well as larger $10 "Sea-Share" dishes.

The worst local fast food place close to me is Popeyes. And I absolutely love Popeyes' food - it's just the staff that sucks balls. And I mean they suck all the balls. They fucked up my order four times in a row. The last time I was there, the fucking manager basically called me a liar, even though I clearly stressed NO PICKLES twice, because apparently it's impossible for those fucktards to not put pickles on chicken sandwiches. He seriously told me that I didn't order it that way. Finally I got the correct order and left, for the last time. I wouldn't go back there if they were giving food away. The place has horrible online reviews from pretty much everybody, but they also have a prime location and they're still always busy.

Oh, and fuck pickles. I hope that whoever first thought it would be a good idea to put those goddamn nasty things on food is roasting in the deepest depths of hell.

Even if the price gets prohibitive, people will still opt for a quick, convenient option. And the perfectly-curated blend of salt/fat/sugar (that gas station food doesn't have) sure doesn't hurt.

Hell, people will spend extra money just to have fast food delivered to them, because it's more convenient than going to the restaurant.

Indoor malls fail because they not only can't compete pricewise (being a brick-and-mortar), but also can't match the convenience of Amazon.
