It is fun for what it is, kick your feet up and enjoy the action type movie..

Of course it's cheesy and stupid, but fuck it. I don't mind watching a stupid movie every once in a while. It has all the action stars from my childhood in one movie. Fuck it. It's just a fun silly action movie. I saw the first Expendables once, and that was enough, but I don't regret seeing it. Of course I waited until Redbox had it. Fuck 9 dollars to see it.

I lke these types of Movies better than some Super Hero make believe stuff. They do Most of their own stunts instead of just watching a computer game for 2 hours.

The first one did suck, even for a brainless action movie. I have a lot higher hopes for this one though as Stallone is not writing and directing this one like he did the first.

There was way too much focus on Stallone and Jason Statham in the first movie, the rest were just sorta bit players and often annoying (why did they make Jet Li a whiny bitch? why were the MMA guys just arguing with each other the whole time? wtf were they thinking with Dolph Lundgren he betrayed them and died but then was there at the end?).

I actually agree. I loved comics growing up, and still enjoy them although I don't really pay much attention to them anymore. But realistic super hero movies are just bad. Nolan's Batman movies are the best of them, but even those are pretty heavily overrated and the Marvel and other DC ones have been not very good.
