Anyone ever catch the interview with Sendak on the Colbert Report? Classic stuff there. I'd highly recommend a YouTube search.

If this guy never did anything after Where the Wild Things Are, he would still be awesome imo... no book captured my imagination in the same way as it did, read it over & over again.

It was the perfect mix of scary without being too scary... a perfect approximation of many of my own dreams, that book is special.

Loved the movie too, it almost got it right imo.

I don't know enough about him to make a too soon joke. Rain Man already stole my Where The Wild Things Are wisecrack.
