I was kind of hoping he walked away from the crash and is somehow still alive.

That is pretty interesting. It is surprising in todays world that something like this goes unseen for 70 years, even in the middle of the Sahara.

Amazing pictures, thank you for sharing. That's a P-40, too, which was American-made. We called it the Warhawk. I guess the Brits thought that was too manly...
