Nature can be both amazing and terrifying all at the same time. Posted these pics because I found them fascinating and I'm bored to tears at work.

Tongue Eating Isopod (it eats, then replaces, the tongue of it's host)

Watusi Cattle (their horns can be up to 100lbs a piece)

Cordyceps Fungi (It slowly consumes them and kills insects. From their collapsed body, grows a 'flowering' stalk. Now this is the creepy bit- the stalk changes form with different species)

Yeah, you beat me to it but that was my exact first thought as well. That one and the Blobfish look like something you'd see in Pokemon.

KILL THEM ALL WITH AIDS FIRE!

Except the Axolotl. That is pretty cute....

Until it reaches adulthood, then someone can kill it with AIDs fire also https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-zxuWvZSiF0I/TYVR9Ot79nI/AAAAAAAAD9Q/vdMZIDj_qXc/adult+axolotl.jpg

No "****ed up animals" thread can be allowed to go without the Candiru. It's a parasitic fish in the Amazon that swims up your dick and latches on with spines. SFW footage of the surgery in the embedded video.

That fish you're talking about was also on 1,000 Ways to Die

I believe its attracted to urine, so don't pee in a river/lake.

I hear they reside in shower drains as well.
