Alice first pitch swinging. Make this guy work.

I understand your point... but Chase Utley has the highest percentage of first pitch swings in the majors throughout his career. It's worked out pretty well for him. I'm not saying Alex is = to Utely but you figure the pitcher wants to get ahead in the count so the first pitch is likely to be in the strike zone. If you're ready to hit then hit it.

Again just my 2 cents.

We need to restart the offense, ASAP.

Go to the Crow (as Deez said).

This is a critical game now. Blowing a 6 run lead would be disastrous to the momentum we're starting to build.

I don't know if it means anything, but anyone else notice that every time Collins through a fastball, Pena was on his knee, yet in a normal squat for breaking balls? If teams started figuring that out as tipping the pitches, that could be real problem......

Well, this is wrong. He's been wrapping around almost everything of late. Completely off balance and completely fucked up.

The mental mistake on the bases tonight would have been my breaking point and a clear signal that he needs a mental break, which AAA would provide in some ways.

Well, Gordon IS in a slump, mostly because he's jamming himself on inside pitches like earlier in the year.
