I have heard that but I do not. If I notice them in the house ever I surely will think about getting one.

I wouldn't do that. I just made an assumption not a suggestion.

While you saw one scorpion, it is a little known fact that they are creatures with a very complex social structure. I am certain that thousands of them are plotting terrible vengeance on you. Good luck!

You know they hunt in packs right?

And crawling on the ground is just their larval stage. Next they sprout wings to spawn and defend the nest.

I had a cat when I was growing up in Oklahoma that never quite learned to leave scorpions the **** alone. She got stung on two separate occasions and her face swoled up horribly. Poor cat, she was in bad shape.

Did you bring the fury? Lay the hammer down? Throw a brick and run the other way screaming like a school girl while waving your arms in a mad and uncontrolled fashion above your head?

Nice try Mr. Bevis but they cannot jump. They are pretty slow moving too, especially when you spray them before smashing them.

When you "killed it with violence" did a bunch of little scorpions pop out of it and chase you throughout the yard, thereby not allowing you to sleep at night because you feel like you have the little spiders, I MEAN SCORPIONS! crawling all over you?

I was going to say, you know it is a much easier kill when you dowse them with a good amount of Raid before you stomp them. But I am not exactly sure what affect Raid has on them because if you let them walk around after dowsing them, they look kind of drunk.

Haha no. I smashed that fucker to pieces in case some kids were on board. And yes, I did have the heebie-jeebies for a bit afterwards. :(

Nice try but I was informed of the power of the scorpion by the man installing my directv yesterday! He gave me all the info I ever need to know.

Yea it does make them act drunk and then he flipped over and laid completely still on his back. I knew he wasn't dead and when I poked him with a stick he flipped back over with his tail up, ready to strike. That is when I smashed him to pieces.

They can live after you put Raid on them, that is why smashing them is the real only way to kill. Spraying them just makes them easier to smash.

I will look for that. I was told to use wasp spray and that shit is thick and can shoot 20ft!

Oh shit! Do you know how much bigger 10x bigger is!!??

I did hear that our friends blow torch them! You think that would stop it from coming back 10x bigger?

I believe that would fall into the "kill it with fire" category, so yes. Good luck. We're all counting on you.

Raid, and most insect killers, attack the nervous system of bugs. It just shuts done all nerve communication. Including legs, lungs, brain. Complete paralysis of every body part. It happens gradually, which is why they look drunk.

Science is cool..

Well we were black lighting for them at night in the back yard. Hope I never see any in the house! And yes, out in Surprise I am guessing they are more prevalent.
