A god damned legend.

The 58-year-old actor said he felt “really, really tired” after decades of pushing his body to the limit.

Speaking in Cannes, Chan said that his latest Hollywood outing, Chinese Zodiac, would be the last time audiences see him in a leading action role.

“This is my last action film,” he said. “I tell you, I’m not young any more. I’m really, really tired.

“And the world is too violent right now. It’s a dilemma - I like action but I don’t like violence.”

Chan has been talking of retirement for the past couple of years but said today that this time he really means it.

He's finally gonna get to do the talky independent dramas he was made for.

If his next role is Hamlet, I'll be first in line to buy a ticket.

I have a ton of respect for Jackie Chan.
The guy's a technician. Loved "Rumble in the Bronx".

My intro to JC was Wheels on Meals -- i'll need to revisit that one again soon.

One of my favorite fights (from Drunken Master 2)

RIP Jackie....i look forward to Karate Kids 2, 3, 4 and 5.

It is bs that movie was the remake of karate kid.

It was kung fu.. call it kung fu kid. Of course would of made 10x less with that title.

Since he does all of his own stunts, I am surprised he didn't hang it up a few years ago. I know that my body takes for freaking ever to heal and I am half a decade younger than Jackie!

I am pretty sure I have seen every staring film he is in-but he did a ton of stuff as a stunt double.

One of a kind.

I've always liked Jackie Chan. His athletic skills are unmatched. And he's a very good actor as well.

Jackie Chan is probably my favorite cartoon character. If only he were real! The actor they put in the intro of his show is pretty close, I guess.

ROFL tis true. Consistency is achieved in the fact that there is "black" in everything except the NAACP and the UNCF. We fucked up there.
