Do not bring him in for the right price if he jumps the ropes and still has some gas in the tank if you look.

as unimpressive as he was last year, on a SB team nonetheless, I have to figure his tank runs dry and the only reason to bring him in is because you have caught a case of the injury bug.

Mile High Mania

Enh... he was a non-factor with NE. That's kinda hard to do if you still have something in the tank.

Bring him in for a look?

Yeah, 'cause if he couldn't succeed with one of the league's best QBs ever and one of the league's best HCs ever, I'm sure he'll do great on another team.

He's toast. Turns out his talent when young was enough to overcome his stupidity, when a QB and offense tailored it to him. Any team that gets him, in this older version, would have to do the same, except the results won't be as good. The Patriots didn't ask him to be the #1 WR. They didn't even ask him to be the #2 WR. They just asked him to run patterns correctly and be an option, and he sucked even at that.

Put him out to pasture with horsehead out in Pile High. Can't wait for SlowMo to pimp him.

Mr. T.O. + Mr. Ochocinco. Is Mr. Moss far behind to complete the triumvirate of has-been divas?

He spent too much time playing soccer, I bet.

His star seemed to fall really fast. Instead of dropping off gradually, he plummeted about three years ago or so and has been limping along ever since.

chad johnson has made a very good career out of running fast excellent routes. he's lost the speed, but he's still faster than bowe and all these receivers could stand to learn from johnson. maybe just a camp deal, maybe a 1 year deal.

Win a playoff game or two, maybe a Superbowl or 2, then run smack. As it is you sound ridiculous.

because the chiefs have as good of WR's as they need to be. no. this is a talented young group who hasn't done shit. they need mentoring in the fine areas of beating cover.

Just making an observation. You are right though, Herm Fox has no need for another reciever.

Besides, we all know he'll be a Faider by weeks end.

LMAO I knew a guy when I was 16 that had a dodge dart. Had one of those knob-grip things on the steering wheel. He used to sit in the middle of the road and crank that steering wheel knob all the way right and do donuts until the smoke hid his car.

According to one report I heard, he still is pretty fast and everything, but he just could NOT figure out the offense, which is multiple and more challenging than average.

In a simpler offense, he might still be able to contribute something.

well if that is true then, ya he wouldn't be worth much here. i heard he was having trouble staying healthy last season, but i did also hear he was having trouble learning the pats system now that you mention it.

:spock: Do you actually watch football? You know, the game with the pointy ball and the goalposts, not the black and white ball and the net?

Welker: 122 rec, 1569 yds, 9 TDs, 21 catches of 20+, 732 yac, 77 1sts.
Gronkowski: 90 rec, 1327 yds, 17 TDs, 22 catches of 20+, 656 yac, 69 1sts.
Hernandez: 79 rec, 910 yds, 7 TDs, 12 catches of 20+, 519 yac, 46 1sts.
Branch: 51 rec, 702 yds, 5 TDs, 10 catches of 20+, 332 yac, 37 1sts.
Ochocinco: 15 rec, 276 yds, 1 TD, 3 catches of 20+, 51 yac, 13 1sts.

Done. Toast. Over. History. Out of gas. He went to his dream team and dream coach and shit the bed. He was starstruck, and spent his time Tweeting instead of learning. Sending Goodell letters instead of studying. He averaged less than 1 reception per game, for 17 yards. One touchdown and only 13 firsts. For a guy with his supposed pedigree, that's beyond pathetic. How hard can the playbook be, really? Or is it that he just didn't try hard enough and isn't smart enough?

He's a much better person than T.O. - Chad is more playful about it, it's his whole act. He acts serious but isn't serious. plus he's wholesome, unlike the lost TO, Child Pleass..

If we were to actually sign Chad or T.O.... which we won't... the fun would be over and the drama would begin as soon as Cassel misses them a couple times. It would be sending a big fat invitation to unrest in the locker room.
