View Full Version : Food and Drink I need a water jug

I need a goddamn water jug. The ones that are around now are worthless piles of fuck that just leak water all over your lap. I'm halfway inclined to sack up and buy a 2 QT thermos, but don't really want to drop that kind of dough on a water jug that I will probably just abuse.

It needs to be good sized keep water cold for at least 12 hours and not leak all over my dick when I try to drink out of it.

Do the great procurement gurus of CP have any insight?

You can't afford the QT thermoses but you want us to recommend something else? I don't even think Jesus can help you.

He isn't talking about a quick trip thermos. 2 quart is how I took what he's looking for...

But your point stands.. how much can these things cost?

No problem . I've got sperm bags that are guaranteed not to leak. I'll give you some used ones at no charge.

Oh. Well. Yeah. Quiktrip has stolen that QT abbreviation. Everybody should know that.

If you really want something that will keep water cold for 12 hours it's probably going to cost you some coin, if it even exists. Don't you have room for a cooler on your tractor?

You are right, no one makes a decent water jug. Coolers have all gone to shit as well. Next cooler I buy will be a Yeti.

Umm, before you do that bud, do a little on-line work. I damn near bought a yeti last year and I'm glad I didn't. The best bang for your buck is a Colman Xtream, by a long shot, I own 3 of them, in various sizes. If you are going super high end, consider an Engel. You will still be gaining very little, by moving up to an Engle.

Negatory. The new Deere combines have refrigerators in them, but I'm not getting one of those cocksuckers for awhile.

Maybe you could learn how to drink out of them without spilling it on your junk?

The issue I have with the Coleman is things like hinges that are crap and handles that break. The extreme is one heck of a cooler but Ive just had it with the weaknesses. Look at Colemans site and look at parts for the extreme....hinges...out of inventory and handles..stocked out as well. Ive read good things about the engle

Yeah and I have field tested all of mine under tough conditions and they do very well. No need to drop your pants for a yedi, when a coleman will do the same thing, in this case.

All day everyday is a PITA. And if it stays wet all day I don't want to get a fungus down there.
