KANSAS CITY, MO - Chiefs fans will be able to watch the 50th season of professional football in Kansas City kick off like never before.

Chiefs Kingdom will extend to 10 different markets over a five-state region though the Chiefs Television Network on KCTV5 for all four preseason games. 65 Toss Power Trap Productions, the production arm of the Chiefs organization, will deliver all live-game action in high definition as the team prepares for the upcoming 2012 season.

KCTV5 will carry Chiefs preseason games for 10th consecutive year, and this season, fans will be treated to some familiar faces on the booth and on the sideline.

NFL Network’s Paul Burmeister and former Chiefs All-Pro quarterback Trent Green will lead the on-air broadcast. CBS veteran and Arrowhead Stadium regular Andy Goldberg will direct each game, and Chiefs Insider Josh Looney will update fans from the sidelines.

The addition of Burmeister and Green to the broadcast booth will be particularly exciting for Chiefs fans, said team president Mark Donovan and KCTV5 general manager Bobby Totsch.

“We are extremely excited to have Paul Burmeister and Trent Green leading the on-air broadcast for the 2012 preseason on the Chiefs Television Network,” said Donovan. “Both Paul and Trent have ties to the region and provide a great combination of local Chiefs knowledge and National Football League perspective.”

Added Totsch: “We are eager to begin our 10th year of airing preseason games on the Chiefs Television Network this fall. Having Paul Burmeister and Trent Green in the booth will be a true treat for all Chiefs fans and KCTV5 viewers when they tune into games this August.

Preseason games are only the beginning when it comes to Chiefs content on KCTV5. 65 Toss Power Trap has the entire preseason covered with Chiefs Blueprint and Chiefs Full Contact, two new specials that will put fans in the middle of the action from training camp in St. Joseph’s, Mo.

KCTV5 will also air weekly shows from 65TPT, including Hy-Vee Chiefs Insider, the official pre-game show of the Chiefs, and Chiefs Kingdom, a new documentary-style show that profiles Chiefs fans and their love for the team.

Producing preseason games in-house is just another way 65 Toss Power Trap Productions is getting fans closer to their favorite team.

“We have such a diverse group of talented producers and directors that this is a challenge we eagerly await,” said Chiefs vice president of marketing and media Robert Alberino. “We have been building elements and features for these games throughout the spring and early summer and think that our viewers will get fresh look at the team and how games are delivered.” KCChiefs.com

Show more games in Texas, assholes.

I'm sick of staring at the computer screen, and I don't get NFL Sunday Ticket with my cable, nor is it an option to switch to Direct TV.

Fuckin' a, man. Fuckin' a.

I hope we get them here. I think our local fox station showed them in 2010 but not last year.

He can hit the goal post from the 50 what are you talking about? He just can't help it if he is challenged at putting on a hat. Give him a break. That's my quarter back your talking about.

NFLST doesn't include out-of-market preseason games anyway. Your best bet is the replays on NFLN.

Step 1: Announce the Chiefs pre-season TV coverage is expanding into 10 new markets.

Step 2: Do not identify the markets.

Step 3: Profit.

Take note that the article never uses the word "expand". Only the idiot thread starter used it.

Naw. It's supposed to be over a five state region. I'm hoping it'll include Cedar Rapids. It was always annoying that just down the road, Des Moines got the games but we didn't.
