Starting this a bit early because I've got internet here at work. And my Lumia is currently R(ing)IP.

Looking to get over the .500 hump in my game threads.

Mendoza (3-4, 4.50 ERA) vs. Villaneuva (2-0, 3.52 ERA)

Leggo Boys!

Oh, Mendoza has some great locks.

A lot of the team could be in a Head n' Shoulders commercial.

No problem.

I was so mad at yesterday's game because I felt like these next two games did not favor us at all in regards to pitching matchups. Hopefully we can get this game today though.

Mitch Meier got DFA'ed. Guess he stood there and looked at strike three too many times this year. Wasn't he a first round pick? Oh well, bring on the new meat. Also, he's got the lowest ERA on our pitching staff this season.

Can't wait for Cain to get back. Dyson sucks.

I have no idea why we're putting any hope in Cain at this point. He's been the Brodie Croyle of the Royals.

We. Need. Myers. Dyson. Fucking. Sucks.

But it's also sad that we're sacrificing in the 3rd. And it's even sadder that it's the right decision because the batter is a black hole.

Nice. Keep a no-talent quitter like Sanchez, a ****ing joke of a "CF" in Dyson, and the GM's son in RF, while cutting a legit. 4th outfielder who was a consummate professional.

Ned looking for pitching again. Have the Orioles done a bunch of moving of players back and forth from their Triple AAA this year? It seems like the Royals move players every third day or so.

Royals trivia question:
Who hit the first pinch hit walk off HR for Royals?
I'm going to guess one of these guys:
Mike Fiore, Hawk Taylor, Bob Oliver, Ed Kirkpatrick.
One of these guys maybe?

I think they'll be a lot of changes after the AS Break. Things that might happen:

Trade Frenchy
Trade Broxton
Trade Gio
Trade Getz
Cut Dirty Sanchez
Send Dyson and Booooogeois down
Bring up Odor-Eater, Myers.
Try Crow as a starter.

Just guesses, but I bet some of this happens.

Very good start for Mendoza tonight. Like to see more innings, but he gave the team a chance, and that's not too bad.

I'd say that run is on Dyson, but his pea shooter wouldn't have been able to do shit with that if the runner were on second, so...

Al Bundy
07-04-2012, 07:31 PM
I'd say it's over... that is too many runs for the Royals to score tonight.

gblowfish

Hope Sal is going to be OK. One of the reason I look forward to games these days is to watch him catch. He's going to be something if we can keep him healthy.

I remember when JF played for the Braves, the local sports talk radio, here - ALL claimed that they viewed him pick his nose and eat his booger. They were swearing by it, and more than one saw it, apparently.

That little potential tidbit about him always made me laugh. He's a pretty much a clown.

Last nights game is a good example of why its not just lack of pitching is the Royals only problem.

We have some decent hitters, but alot of times they dont do little things to win a game. They dont work the opposing pitchers enough, they dont walk enough, dont hit with RISP, they dont steal enough bases, etc...etc, etc.......

I dont get it? its been a problem with the Royals for years.

His OBP is over .400 since returning to the lead-off spot. He's an absolutely perfect fit in this position.
