Not gonna happen.

For once I agree with SK.

I'm somewhat suprised by that. I wonder what the numbers are?

Not gonna happen.

I've resigned myself to this train of thought, as well.

Bears and Matt Forte agreed to a four-year deal. The deal will average about $8 million per year.

How do we know if they haven't signed him yet? Since they like to keep so much under wraps.

That's pretty damned reasonable, especially considering how much of their offense went through Forte.

He wants to go somewhere that he can get paid. If the reports of him wanting to go to Miami have any truth to them, he just wants to go somewhere with a nightlife and a big contract.

Yep. I see no urgency whatsoever to sign "The Show" to a long term deal.

If you do? Fine. If not? No worries. Just keep tagging him.

but at that point, you've paid him nearly the amount that it would've taken to get a deal done.

But also kept him hungry. With those 1 year deals.

Bowe strikes me as the type who could relax a little once he gets that multi year deal. Could be 100% wrong on that. Just what I think.

There is that, but you also have him pissed at the team and a possible distraction.
