The link is to a podcast with Greg Cosell (former scout, now a writer for nfl.com). He gives his opinion on the AFC West draft, team-by-team.

For KC he said:

1. Poe - depends on which school of thought you come from; production or ability. Moves extremely well for a man his size. He doesn't view him as a 2 gap NT. He thinks he fits better as a 1 gap, but he doesn't want to question Romeo.

2. Allen -"really, really, really, good player." Played left and right, can play tackle or guard. Very solid and powerful. Can be a 10 year starter. Good at everything.

3. Stephenson - needs a lot of help with technique. Could fit in KC because he can sit behind Albert and Winston for a few years and learn. Raw.

4. Wylie - He loves. Hates to compare to existing NFL players, but you can't help but think of Welker. He's faster than Welker and is an excellent STs player.

5. Menzie - Cosell thought Menzie was THE best pure slot corner in the draft. Really good on the inside, not as good on the outside.

6. Gray - inconsistent, but is smooth in his running.

No opinion on the other players, he didn't watch them.

so he basically thinks it's a good draft with a chance to be a great draft if Poe lives up to his potential.

Haven't heard of Mark, but Greg is the nephew of Howard as you probably already know.

As long as we are missing a QB, none of this matters. It doesn't matter.

The only thing you should take from this is that it's another opinion on Poe that doesn't jive with where we picked him.

If he can't 2-gap, epic fail.
