I cleaned up my 14-year old Weber natural gas grill today (since who knows when) and found some issues. The center flavorizer bar was in bad shape so it was relegated to the back. The cooking grate has a couple of holes in it that I knew about. The amazing part is that the SS burners still burn perfectly with no apparent wear. Weber rocks!

Anyway, it's bone-in ribeyes and veggies on the grill. A side of potatoes is in order.

What you got?

For some reason, I thought you were more of a pot with water boiling foods for hours type of meal-maker.

I had no idea there was an earlier thread/post that was so detailed. o:-)

It's amazing that a 14-year old Weber is still rock solid that $60 won't make like new.

Ribeye is on the counter getting to room temperature.

They will cook them fine as long as it gets hot enough and you only flip it once...

I like a Ribeye in an Iron Skillet with a pat of butter

Dry season both sides

Get the skillet REAL hot until the real butter is starting to smoke... Lay that Ribeye on the skillet for 3 1/2 mins flip and repeat...

Go to the finest restaurants for pan-seared-oven-roasted steaks.... topped with butter and a side salad. You know what I'm talking about. Not a grill in sight and they say it's perfect..
