Looks like a pitchers duel today

lewdog
07-29-2012, 02:20 PM
Ah shit, total pitchers duel. Fresh Prince baby!

stonedstooge
07-29-2012, 02:22 PM
King Felix strikes out the side to begin the game.
Fresh Prince hits the 1st Mariner

IF that hit by Salvy doesn't sum up the Royals since the break, I don't know what does.

stonedstooge
07-29-2012, 02:28 PM
Off the wall single by Salvy. 1st and 2nd no outs

petegz28
07-29-2012, 02:39 PM
we choke, they don't...that simple

stonedstooge
07-29-2012, 02:39 PM
Walmarts down 1-0 after 2

stonedstooge

Escobar singles in Dyson. 1-1

Nightfyre
07-29-2012, 02:46 PM
Felix definitely has his best stuff working today. I am surprised the Royals have elevated their play to match. Dyson's bat speed looks a lot better to me today.

Smith's curveball is destroying fools today.

Nightfyre
07-29-2012, 03:04 PM
Hosmer having some good abs lately.

stonedstooge
07-29-2012, 03:05 PM
Hope he didn't hurt him. Hosmer with a shot off King's left hand

Nightfyre
07-29-2012, 03:18 PM
Moose makes that play, I'd bet. Yuni probably should play ready-ball.

petegz28
07-29-2012, 03:20 PM
3-1...looks so fucking familiar

Nightfyre
07-29-2012, 03:21 PM
Yuni's shitty defense costs us two runs so far this inning.

stonedstooge
07-29-2012, 03:30 PM
I wish Hud would stop the shit of calling for a home run. He's called it about once a game and hasn't ever got it right

stonedstooge
07-29-2012, 03:35 PM
Escobar with another RBI. 3-2 Mariners after 5

Nightfyre
07-29-2012, 03:57 PM
Cain with the ridiculous snag. Wil Smith at 85 pitches through six. Another great start for him. He has put fewer runners on base than Felix. If Yuni isn't a lazy chump at third base, we are winning 2-1 right now and Smith is down another like 10-15 pitches.

stonedstooge
07-29-2012, 04:01 PM
Yuni plays for his bat-Hud
Currently on an 0-16 tear

Nightfyre
07-29-2012, 04:02 PM
Hernandez is fielding the ball from his infielders with his pitching hand. He must be in some pain.

petegz28
07-29-2012, 04:19 PM
and that's gonna be all she wrote

Nightfyre
07-29-2012, 04:20 PM
Yuni's defense has now cost this team four runs.

stonedstooge
07-29-2012, 04:20 PM
Was Smith at a high pitch count? I guess it's to the point that whatever move Ned makes, it's the wrong one

Nightfyre
07-29-2012, 04:23 PM
Smith was at 85 pitches. He was very efficient.

Royals have dived to the bottom of the AL standings like a submarine trying to escape depth charges. Now almost 20 games under .500, only the Rockies and Astros are worse in the NL.

Yet, nobody seems surprised or upset. Nobody is being held accountable.

One year ago, they were 45-61. With today's pending loss, 41-60. No improvement. None.

Billy with an RBI single. Royals still down 5-3

Yuni just wanted to get in the dugout evidently.

Sucking Ass in Seattle, starring the Kansas City Royals pitching unit, with supporting roles by every other fucking clown in the clubhouse.

JFC, can't even field a fucking bunt

I wish we could make Hud sit through 20 seasons in a row like this one, so he could understand what real Royals fans have been through. He'd be in a fetal position drooling in a rubber room. Pussy.

Sad thing is, there'll be nobody held responsible for this month of failure. Not DM, not Ned, not anybody.

David Glass is too busy wondering when the Cards make their move against the Pirates and Reds....

Nightfyre

After this game, I would flat-out release Yuni. He is not acceptable, even as a backup anymore.

07-29-2012, 05:13 PM
Cool. Seattle's first four game sweep since 2005.

And their first home sweep in over 11 years.

Cool.

Ned rules.

Hey, have some Frenchy beads and a crappy lunch box! Kauffman Stadium has plenty of shiny things to keep your mind off baseball. Come have a beer, ride the carousel, bring the kiddies! Come out for Jayhawk night and bawk like a chicken! Just ignore what's going on out there on that big green and brown space out in the middle, nothing to see there....nothing to see there....

It would be nice if Glass made himself available for an interview. But he'd probably just walk out when the tough questions hit.

Why would he make himself available? He doesn't give a shit about the fans.
