On XP attempts, is the "holder" allowed to place a ball on a tee for a kicker?


Sounds like a stupid question....but I'm watching the replay of last night's Blue Springs vs. Rockhurst game on Metro Sports right now (just turned it on) and Blue Springs scored on a kickoff return right before halftime (score before half was 31-17 BS winning). On the XP attempt the holder gets the snap and then places the ball on a tee?

I've never seen that before...but maybe I just was never paying attention.

Looked it up because it brought back some memories. NFL banned the use of tees in 1974, NCAA banned in 1988, and still allowed in high school football.

yes on a flat tee about an inch or two up.

yes its a flat holding block idk if other leagues do it but the suburban big 7 does
