I was at the 11/11/01 game where the Chiefs played the Jets in NY. Before the game the P.A. announced what the Chiefs fans had given during the Giants game in KC and the stadium got pretty loud about it. A lot of fans in our section patted Chiefs fans in the back even though we all, or most of us anyway, weren't in the stadium in KC. That feeling after 9/11, the one good feeling of unity, was pretty powerful. You could feel it just driving down the road when you saw 95% of the cars with flags on them.
