Pardon the sensitivity. It's been one of those weeks that makes a person reflect.
I've been to 3 funerals this week... thankfully none immediate family or my closest friends but family of close friends and another old friend. On top of that was more bad news of serious illness of another person.
It makes a person realize how stupid internet arguements are and how being mad about our favorite sports teams losing is energy that could be better used focussed in area's that contribute more to our real happiness and things that are really important. I'm not trying to be preachy... I do those things. I hope I can remember to re-focus that energy myself.
It's NEVER wasted energy to hug your kids, call your mom and say I love you or put your arm around a friends shoulder and thank them for being your friend.
Just something I needed to say. Thanks. Not looking for or wanting sympathy please.
