View Full Version : Chiefs Opinion on Hillis?

I am wondering what people think about Hillis. Last year, he seemed to fake an injury to sit out. This year for us, he left the game walking to the sidline without a limp, then we are told it's an ankle sprain. After he doesn't come back for 2 weeks, its changed to high-ankle sprain. We've heard notes about Lewis since he got hurt, and Johnson, and Flowers, yet nothing seems to ever be said about Hillis.

What is going on? Has anyone local heard anything? I liked the signing, but so far, it's turning out exactly like the cynics said, and his injury is going to run Charles into the ground.

Thoughts?

A high ankle sprain is an injury that typically takes a number of weeks to recover from.

I was really excited when they signed him. Was even planning on getting his Jersey(glad I didnt spend that money), but

Draughn done a good job. I see no need for hillis to return. One and done in KC with Charles Draughn and Gray on the team.

not arguing that.....point is, he didn't even limp runnin off of the field. it was changed to a "high" ankle sprain two weeks later

If not the whole season.

Hillis is soft IMO.

He's a quitter, as expected.

I'll put it this way....We all saw what happened to him and Dex in the same game. We all pretty much thought McCluster was out the rest of the season with a dislocated/broken elbow/arm.

Dex hasn't missed a game, Hillis has practiced since.

If Hillis isn't the center of attention, he whines like a teen age drama queen and is a cancer on the team.

I would flat out cut him because of his behavior.

i called this in training camp and the game he skipped the media on and didnt shower

i said he was a bitch and a quitter and this was just another bargain bin Pioli FA fail and a lot of you bashed me for it. A lot of people thought this guy was an UPGRADE over Thomas Jones and going to be some sort of 800-1000 yard savior. And it was a great find. Hilarious how much of us drank the Pioli Propaganda Kool Aid in the offseason.

Now I can tell you guys I told you so and to eat shit. This guy is a turd stain

Most of Pioli's FA signings are brokedicks.

Seriously.

Hillis is a POS. 10 carries for 19 yards = 1.6 yards per carry.

I can gain more than that at nearly 50 years old falling forward.

Another HORRIBLE FA signing!

Sucks.

Me too. I loved the idea of him and Charles in the back field. I looked everywhere for a Hillis Jersey.

Thank God I couldnt find one.

I loved the signing at first, but then again I have the player evaluation skills of Scott Pioli.

If you are going to have a change of pace back leech carries from the all time NFL leader in YPC avg, then make sure he can play. Yes he converted some stuff today, but if your going to split those carries, make sure the player can at least produce. Hillis has not.

I think he's done. I thought he'd be a lot more explosive but he just seems to lack burst that even other big guys like Tolbert, Dwyer, even Leach have.

my opinion?

he fucking sucks and is a waste of a god damn roster spot

there are literally probably 100 unemployed backs better than Peyton Hillis...these guys are literally all over the place...Peyton Hillis isn't even a dime a dozen back...he's a waste of a roster spot

production?!?!?!?

you're fucking telling me Charles couldn't have had that same TD run?

Charles is a better power back than Peyton "I'm fucking terrible" Hillis.

+ Charles did all the work to get to the 3 & they throw a slant to Baldwin with a cheap TD for the day. I wanted to see Charles get it.
