We won't be able to get anything for him in the offseason because we'll have to use the tag on Albert or Bowe if he's still here.
Maybe a team desperate for a run stopper would give up a 3rd round pick for him?
Okay maybe a 3rd is too high. Could we land a 4th for him? It's better than nothing and Pitouta has looked better than him.

If you think the guy wouldnt be totally open to sign a LTD that would open up cap space to add a guy like Bowe, I dont know what to tell you.

I talked to the ghost of Pete Rozelle tonight and he told me this. He said that a giant asteroid was going to land in idaho and that because of that farmers weren't going to have enough potatoes to sell. Due to the hard hit on the potato farmers in Idaho Goodell was going to allow Detroit an extra $15 million in free cap space because the motor city has had it rough as of late. Of course this is only possible if his press release gets 2 million likes on facebook by Monday.

As good as Jamaal is a 3rd is probably tops. He's coming back from a major injury, is not built to be an every down back, and is already being run to the ground.

I don't know just like you and many others don't know what teams will do or how they have evaluated players. Remember Dorsey was rated in the top 10 according to PFF as a run stopper. IIRC

Pitouta has Other been better than Dorsey. Pitouta has been a huge liability. He got two gimme sacks, that's it.

You realize both Stafford and Megatron already did this (restructured) like 1 or 2 years ago?
They might not be cool with doing it every 2 ****ing years just because the Lions can't structure a contract properly.

Got a late rounder for that DE from the Pack a few years ago, and got something for Tank McBride a couple of years ago.
A third for Dorsey might be high, but not entirely out of the question, especially if there's a team in a 43 defense struggling in run defense.
That being said,, which of Pioli's buddys would make a trade for Dorsey?
It's become pretty apparent that no one outside the family tree will deal with Pioli.
