Watching the Vikings play. Granted, it's against the Tardinals, but this is a hell of a lot more fun than watching the Chiefs. AP is as much of a blast to watch as ever, and even Christian Ponder is looking good. Oh, to be in the hunt for the division...

Yeah, the reason they're having success is because they got rid of Winston. Not the 8,145 injuries they had last year. And even then they got into the playoffs with a 5th round rookie QB.

Yeah, we had injuries too... And with the way our QBs get hit, due in part to Winston being an open gate because he's both weak and not an athlete (or much of one), I'm not surprised we don't have more. He's bad, very bad at what he gets paid to do..

This is the most not-talked about part of Brady Quinn's performance last week. Tampa's pass defense is terrible. Absolutely terrible, nobody else was even close in terms of yards/game allowed. They were allowing almost 350 a game. Quinn couldn't even break 200 yards against them.

975 might be a bit much.. Since Winston only throws a block after he's sure he's not playing against a gladiator, I'm not sure he's that much better.

But yes, when you're as bad has he is at his given trade, you should stay quite like a church mouse and just be happy to be getting paid.

Barry Richardson was a revolving door that literally could not handle a speed rusher. If you really believe Winston is just as bad, you're a moron. Now if you want to be mad at him for running his stupid mouth, then by all means. He's not the greatest RT of all time but compared to Richardson he's pretty solid.

Every stadium has Aholes in it, I'm sure there were a handful in Houston too, so why did he wait until just a few games into his hopeful short KC career to talk like that? He's an ass, and he's ignorant too. So if he's the best lineman on a team that's not had a lead, in regulation, this far into the season, what's that saying about him being good at his trade? That he sucks less than the others? As for him being better, it's the most subjective position on the field. Go here http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/stats/_/name/kc/kansas-city-chiefs - there's not even a stat for "blow-bys" that he allows for so often. So if you can provide an objective site for O-linemen who don't wiff on their blocks, I'd love to see it. Short of that all we know is he's a loud-mouth Ahole who's an O-linemen on a team that has yet to have a lead in regulation six games into the season.

Yeah, he should have kept his mouth shut until he wasn't the real problem.

LOL yeah I heard that before.

IMO, the QBs that will transition the best are Wilson, Barkley and Murray. I don't care which ones we draft but Smith doesn't have the "it" factor that RG3 has. RG3 knows he's a bad ass, I want my QB to have that confidence. I wouldn't be upset if we pick Smith, I'm just not as sure about him as others are on here. His mechanics are raw as fuck.

What was the deal? I'm not getting that game and don't have the NFL ticket....

And it seems interesting that QBs are allowed to do just about anything they want (still) to draw the D offside, but there's a rule specifically written to make it hard for the defense to counter with some tricks of their own.

It seems that we coach the D to watch the ball and react to it alone...even in 2nd grade football, but the offense knows the snap count yet they need a rule to help them hear it instead of watching the ball. Obviously I played on the D side of the ball so I'm biased just a little.

What's next, not being able to shift the defense audibly because it might confuse the offense as they shift and don't get reset properly before the snap? LOL!!!

It was tough to tell exactly what part was illegal (and, presumably, it's a bit of a judgement call). It was on a FG attempt, and the linebacker was the only one behind the line. Oh, and as for the fairness of the rule, I don't mind that. Defensive players are allowed to move all over the place before the snap (as long as they aren't trying to cause a false start), so I'm fine with the QB trying to draw them off with a snap. Offensive guys can't hardly flinch before the snap, so I don't mind that defensive players can't be up there yelling a bunch of shit to make it so they can't hear the snap count properly.

LOL, I love it actually! Too bad the rules don't allow the game to be played sometimes... Especially if it prevents offenses scoring! Let the QB lift his leg, scream at different pitches and juke his head and 999 out of a hundred it's not called. We just accept it, the offense trying to draw the defense offsides. Do it the other way, try to cause a false start, and it's a crime against humanity!
