Man, what a list...You'd be pressed to find that much FAIL in one place anywhere outside of congress. My vote goes to Pioli as being "THE WORST of the worst" because without him, none of the others would be around.

If I had to vote for one to suck above all others it would probably be Daboll. I'll preface that by saying its near impossible to gameplan with Matt Cassel as QB when you have to toss half the playbook down the toilet.

well ... if you ignore the fact that Pioli hired them

Crennel is clearly the suckiest

1. i think Crennel is telling Daboll to be so conservative(daboll looks pissed)
2. Pioli has acquired talent for the team he just can't hire a decent HC also the cassel issue.

Ranking them suckiest 1st

1. Crennel
2. Daboll
3. Pioli

I went with Cassell. If Cassell was really good, we'd be winning. So Pioli would look smart for trading for him. RAC/Daboll would be considered good coaches. IMO, if we would have gotten Manning this offseason, we'd be winning. Arrowhead would probably be sold out every game, and people obviously wouldn't be calling for the other 3 to be fired. Winning=smart/good.

Honestly... Crennel

As bad as Pioli has been, there is no excuse for getting blown out literally every week. That's something that doesn't even happen to the shittiest of coaches. But Crennel manages to do it.

Close second: Pioli

Obvious reasons

3rd: Cassel

Man, that's tight.

To me, if I'm assigning them all grades from 1-100, I think I give the lowest score to Daboll.

Pioli has at least managed to make his boss money. As a football personnel person, he's complete trash. As a General Manager, he has managed to not lose money for his boss. By God he's tried with the Cassel and Jackson deals, but he still hasn't pulled it off. Pioli gets a 20/100.

Crennel...!@#$ man, I don't know how I can give him very many points but what he has at least avoided is an outright mutiny. The guys don't play hard for him, but they don't appear to hate him either. And at times the defensive side of the ball does look halfway decent (afterall, yesterday the D still only gave up 17 points). I give Crennel a 25. He gets a slightly higher score than Pioli just because of the fact that Pioli loses a half point for every point Crennel loses by virtue of voluntarily employing him.

Cassel. I can't even gear myself up to talk about him. Sometimes he runs well and he's not always complete trash when the game is out of hand. He gets a 30/100.

Daboll...these guys are just a complete waste on offense. Even if Cassel were decent, these schemes are predictable as hell and there aren't adjustments made ever. He doesn't work to anyone's strengths and hasn't shown an ability to even determine what those might be. Moreover, he's a prick. Everyone seems to hate this asshole. Nobody wants to work with him and he's awful at the side of the ball he's responsible for. As near as I can tell there is absolutely nothing redeeming about Brian Daboll. He gets a 5/100 because he's shown up to each game by kickoff. That's all I can come up with.

Daboll wins this one. In a vacuum, he's worse at his job than anyone else here is at theirs. He simply does nothing well. Ever.

11-02-2012, 05:55 PM
Its got to be Daboll. There is plenty of suck to go around but honestly, this guy is trying his best, has no image to live up too, and still cant make a fucking score.

Have fun sitting at home on the couch next season Daboll. The rest of these screw ups will at least have a job somewhere.

Worst of the bunch has to be Crennel; Pioli and Cassel were both in their respective positions last year and the results with different coaches were nowhere near this bad.

2nd worst has to be Daboll. Really, one shouldn't have to say anything other than "Ravens game plan" to prove this point. It might also be worth mentioning that all NFL teams (including the Chiefs) have talented players, yet this clown can't get us in the end zone.

3rd worst (and he is not far at all behind Daboll): Cassel. You could write volumes about this guy's deficiencies and string together hours of video illustrating his incredible failures.

Then there is Pioli who appears completely ignorant of the keys to a football dynasty- a quarterback and a head coach. Pioli's allegiance to Cassel is a maddening enigma and certainly worthy of ridicule and scorn but Crennel is easily Pioli's worst mistake. Pioli should have been fired the instant he suggested Crennel as a long-term solution at head coach.

RJ
11-02-2012, 08:30 PM
That's a great question. I went with Daboll as he seems to me to be the one most completely overmatched by the tasks he faces. But then Pioli hired him. And Romeo is the head coach. And Cassell.....well, they were all good choices.

It's the whole "chicken-and-the-egg" thing. That's what makes it a hard question with no definitive right answer. A lot of this stuff is luck. The Pats got Brady. We dug up Davis. The Raiders grabbed Purple Drank and the Chargers got Ryan Leaf. I don't know. I think Piolio trying to recreate the Pats with Mark Asshole, Crennel and Daboll is the problem.

J Diddy
11-02-2012, 10:58 PM
Pioli's fail is responsible for the other three's fail. Pioli is the tree trunk, the others are the branches and all their failures are the twigs.

All those twigs are dependent upon the branch, which is dependent upon the base.

Cut off a branch and the tree lives. Cut off two branches and the tree lives. Cut off three branches and the tree lives. Cut down the trunk and it all dies.

It has to be Pioli. Crennel and Daboll had already proven themselves to be failures at HC and OC, and he hired them in the same roles anyway.

Without Pioli, we wouldn't have Cassel either, but in comparison, he's definitely the least of the evils.

milkman

No way it is anybody but Cassel.

Because if Cassel were amazing, then none of the others would be in this poll.

The problem in this line of thought is that Pioli had 4 years to evaluate Cassel up close and personal, and he still came to teh conclusion that Cassel was a franchise QB.

4 years of evaluation on a single player to reach the wrong conclusion.

That is a level of suck that can not be matched.

Real Answer is ANYONE who thinks Cassel is a good QB.

McDaniels and Pioli tried to bring him to their new teams.
