Take notes, Clark... firing your GM is legal during the season.

He needs to just retire, he made the Browns even worse then they already are.

Guys here is the deal with Holmgren... Great head coach but not a good GM. I would be more than happy to have him as a head coach. Don't judge his coaching ability off his GM abilities.

With that said if Sean Payton doesn't come available from the Saints, I Holmgren ends up in Dallas.

I would love him as HC. He's a winner and he turns his QB's into winners. That's all that matters.

He's coached Joe Montana, Steve Young, Brett Favre, and helped turn Matt Hasselbeck into a Pro Bowler.

He's coached 3 teams to SB's, One of a handful of coaches to coach more than 1 franchise to a SB. He's not a long term guy, but this team is ready to win now with better coaching and a good QB. I firmly believe that.

Yep and he knows how to groom a young QB.

JFC, he wasn't the General Manager, he was the Team President. The Cleveland Browns GM is Tom Heckert.

Furthermore, for the last fucking time, Holmgren was essentially fired in August when Jimmy Haslem bought the Browns. Joe Banner, who was the team president in Philly is the minority owner and new CEO.

This is OLD news.
