Yes. 74,000 in attendance at the game yesterday proves this. Going to Chiefs games for the majority of the fans is about socializing, not the game. Nothing will change. The fans are to blame.

The stadium was about 1/3rd empty and at least 1/3rd of fans in attendance were Bronco fans and another 1/3rd were in black.
This was well into the 1st quarter. Most of the top is empty.

There's a lot of Donk fans west of Wichita, and a lot of displaced Denver fans right here in KC. Winning teams fans travel. We've seen that with Pittsburgh and Green Bay too. Those people travel like crazy. It's fun to go on a road trip when your team is good. I used to go see the Chiefs on the road in the 90s. Nothing better than beating a good team on the road for a weekend vacation.
