If he stays healthy, HOFer.

I've never seen a rookie QB play this well.

He's so good he's already in the top 5 on PFF.

If he can stay healthy. He takes a lot of shots, and running an option offense increases his injury risk

Elway?

That's a pretty big statement.

Meh, WAY to risky to give up that much for a qb/ Pussholy

Can we make Washington America's new team?

Man, I could watch RG3 every week on prime time.

I just LOVE watching he and Luck play.

They were born to play QB.

I'd like to know if he even entered any negotiations with St. Louis for the pick

Yeah, either one would have looked great with an Arrowhead on their helmet. FU PUSSHOLY :cuss:

The shannahan's (who I hate), are doing a brlliant job of using RGIII's talents.

Yeah, there's not anyone close to him. Jay Cutler might be a distant second, or maybe Jake Plummer.

Bang on throw to all but end the game there.

He's just a sick talent.

God I wish our team had the balls to trade up for a player like that. Not only is RGIII a great talent, but so far he might be an even better leader.

So my provacative thread title was a bit of a spoof of another thread on CP. Anyone remember the original?

Luck is better and is going to have the better and more successful, longer career. RG3 is nice and all but it's gonna be interesting to see how he adjusts his game as he gets older and loses a step or three. JMO, but Luck is gonna last longer and be the better QB. He already is better. I'd rather have Luck.

Bump

everyone is gonna be searching/reaching for the next RG3, he's a trend setter in a copy cat league. But none will be nearly as good for RG3 is gonna be legendary.

RG3 is an absolute beast. I was saying to my friends on draft day that he would be better than Luck, and I'm standing by that statement.

Hell no. RG3's work ethic and attitude are better.

Hell no. RG3's work ethic and attitude are better.

He's faster, more accurate, smarter, and just simply a better player than Cam.

His ability to make the correct read in their ZR system is what truly separates the two, IMO.

As well as Griffin's accuracy.

I still think Geno Smith has the potential that RG3 does.

Yes, they're different though. Geno doesn't have the speed and isn't a runner like RG3 is. Geno's better at this point compared to RG3 last year in terms of moving within, not outside the pocket IMO

I agree BUT if they keep that O-line stout he rarily gets touched IMO. And I'm sure they will protect their investment well.

They are both beasts and you really are comparing apples to oranges here and is not a fair comparison because their games are damn near polar opposite.

Coulda been us

Could have been anyone willing to give up multiple first rounders. Reality is that we weren't going to outbid Washington.

The two teams who should be cringing the most are the Lambs and the Browns. Walrus underbid, and ended up with Weeden. And if I am a Lambs fan, I'd rather have taken RG3 and dealt Bradford...

DMC doesn't catch a hailmary and Rivers learns how to handle a snap and we could have outbid them (hypothetically).

I wonder if he'll regress like Newton.

I don't think so because not only does RGIII have a helluva a lot better QB coach who really knows how to coach up and exploit his strengths but RG's maturity level is far beyond Newton's when it comes to facing football adversity and showing real good short term memory when problems occur. RG responds like "water off a duck's back" when things go wrong whereas when you see Newton he really struggles and begins to 'sulk' if he does not get off to a good start. This is what I call "short term memory mental toughness" and RG is head and shoulders above Cam in my opinion because RG has been raised in a military home and has learned discipline, mental toughness, hard work, team play and most of all humility and in his mind it's not about HIM but about his TEAM whereas Cam IMO in his mind it's ALLLLLLLLLL ABOUT CAM !!

Yeah, I was mainly pointing to the aspect of being an impact Rookie that the franchise can lean on to make people around him better and produce wins.

Not really comparing the two as runners. I was bland in my statement I admit.

Alfred Morris is no slouch either

talk about finding talent in the late round. Alfred Morris has been the fantasy gem find this year and is probably carrying people in the playoffs as that early in the season cheap FA find that ends up rushing for 1000+ yards as a ****ing rookie in the pistol offense lol

and I think I've read RG3 come out and say Morris should be rookie of the year, I know hes just talking up his teammate but still

I'm going to catch the last game at Fed Ex field this year just to watch him. Probably will cost me about $150 for a cheap ticket.

Both Andrew Luck and RGIII have been everything and then some. He is incredible as a rookie
