You know, Chancellor was moving so fast, and hit him so violently, that that hit would have looked "illegal" no matter where he aimed it. At some point though, these defenders are going to learn that its better to aim for the stomach/waist area if the guy is in the air. It won't have quite the same effect, but if you hit them as hard as Chancellor just hit Davis, they'll probably drop the ball 80% of the time and you'll save yourself a costly penalty..

I'd like to propose a new rule.... After a QB has run the ball 3 times in a game, there's no more slide rule for that QB for the rest of the game. Maybe one slide per half. I'm cool with them running the ball, but stop the facade that they're not running backs after a while..

If they want to "protect them" (like they love like their own sons!!), outlaw them running at all! Unless they're wiling to show them that love, they're football players, take the hit!
