Haven't been active over the last few weeks, i'm going through a tough stretch in my life.
My Dad has been in the CCU for the last two weeks.

Please Pray For Him, he seems to be getting worse as each day passes and could use Prayer.

Bonecrusher....thoughts, prayers and best wishes to your dad for a speedy recovery. I lost my father at 49 to colon cancer in 95'. Life is short and precious to us all. Be strong and positive.

Ewe, that can be ugly. That's what got mom in 91 & with being on dialysis they couldn't flush her system to make her better. Double down on prayers sent.

Whatever you do keep him away from all sugar, it feeds infections like gasoline on a fire. Make sure he is eating good foods like a lot of veggies and lean proteins like skinless chicken or fish. Ask the doctors if he can be given a complete multi-vitamin from an organic food based source. Also a multi-mineral that includes zinc, it helps clip polypeptide linkages that holds viruses together. He will respond faster to the doctors treatment if he is getting the right foods and supplements. For what its worth.

he ate his first real meal in two weeks... today.
