I keep seeing his name pop up in a lot of hot-button conversations since Pioli was fired.

Do you want this guy as our RT in 2013?

Let the record show he only allowed 3 sacks. He's no Jordan Black or Barry Richardson.

This poll is sickening and embarrassing.

Its CP's way of picking on someone retarded...who isn't retarded.

Shut up and play ball would be my advice for him.

He's a fuck stick, but he can play the game and that's ultimately all that i care about.

Sure. He's good. But he deserves 70,000+ people laughing in his face when Cassel gets cut.

hahahah it's a very rare combination when the player is an idiot/flaps his trap but is actually decent, then to watch the fanbase react to said player.

if this guy was even just average or okay the fanbase would be roasting him over a fire. but because he has good NFL play for his position he gets a shrug

He's always been one of the better RTs in the league.

apparently giving up 3 sacks in an entire season isnt good

id hate to see what some of you have as a criteria for a good offensive tackle then holy fuck some of you are picky

Yes, I want him back. Forget the stupid controversies. Hell, forget all of 2012. He's a good right tackle, and it would be a terrible mistake to let him go.

It's a love/hate relationship. He's a good player. I want good players on my team. So I guess I want him on the Chiefs.

But that's not going to stop me from calling him an asshole every chance I get. Speaking of which...

Eric Winston is an asshole.

RealSNR

Also, that defense of Cassel against the fans thing he did was because he cares. He just doesn't know any better, that's all.

I'd love for him to have that same over protective instinct when he's blocking for a REAL QB.

I like the dude.

Precisely.

Let's forget that 2012 ever happened and start all over. Not just with him, but with Clark and the whole team other than our seven pro bowlers. We can remember 2012 for our seven pro bowlers.

We can also remember this play because it was really cool.

Of course. I don't care what he said. He's one of the best RTs in the league and we need as many good offensive players as possible surrounding our rookie QB.

Yes, keep him. He's a better RT than KC has had in years. It's better than using a 1-3rd round draft pick to replace him. At the end of the day he was right, some people were cheering Cassel's injury. Good for him sticking up for his QB. I want him sticking up for Smith/Wilson/Bray.

I'm fine with him at RT.

If a better replacement can be had, by all means. It's not a priority.

I kind of look at Winston as that dude that your sister starts dating that is a giant douche, but then he's around all the time and can help move heavy shit so you kind of just get used to him.

Team that cut him is still alive on the playoffs.

To me that means... "Well.. bye."

Let's drop the acrimony. In a stupid moment without all the facts he defended his teammate. Would it make you all feel better if he was happy about the injury?

Eric Winston is that guy in your group who has to protest everything, talking about world peace and being green and shit. Annoying as fuck, thinks he smarter than everyone else.

Fuck Eric Winston.

Most people who were at the game agree with him though. There was a lot of cheering in my section and in other sections and a lot of high fiveing once people realized that Cassel was hurt.

It's still not right that he made it public how he did, but I'm not mad at all about the fact that he said what he felt he needed to say. You want your linemen to defend their QB at all costs.

If he defends Cassel, think about how he would defend Geno or Wilson if something happened to them.

Anyone remember Barry Richardson?

okcchief
01-08-2013, 06:31 PM
I never understood the outrage. He could have handled it better and specified some fans, but he was just trying to stand up for a team mate. Even if that team is VERY hate able in our eyes. He's better than what we've had. If he plays well and we're better last season will be a distant memory.

I can tell you this the Texans still wish they had him.

The right side of their line is f'd up once he left.

He's a pretty good player. I don't like his outburst (or him failing to protect Cassell a week later after Seymour body slammed the QB right in front of him and he did nothing after blasting the fans), but we always say we'll take a guy we don't like if he's good. Same deal here. Dale Carter was an ass but he could play.

I voted no, but it wont hurt my feelings if he is back.

I don't recall the last few games him false starting much. Altho there was several games he did make notable false starts that became a joke.

If we need him bad enough keep him. If we can upgrade, by all means upgrade.

He was defending his teammate, wrongly but that was the intent. Too many people around here need to get the sand out of their vaginas.
