Probably a duplicate, but worth discussing where it isn't buried in mounds of mega-thread BS.

Pretty cool comparisons.

"Weak" armed Barkley has the best completion % of the big 4 on passes over 20 yards.

Geno Smith is horrible under center, has the worst 3rd down completion% of the big 4 and his passes average less than 5 yards in the air. On the plus side when he throws mid-range he has very good accuracy 6-20 yards.

Wilson is below "average" on all passes over 5 yards.

Nassib seems to have the most consistency looking at accuracy/depth.

You forgot to mention that while Geno threw a high amount of screens, many of those attempts equal negative yardage, so they bring down his average considerably. He actually threw WAY LESS passes in the 1-5 range than any of the other QBs.

Barkley actually threw the most passes (in terms of percentage of attempts) less than 5 yards by quite a wide margin. And on top of that, his accuracy in the 1-5 range was WAY below average.

This actually has been discussed before and the bottom line was that it benefits Glennon most.

Well, as has been discussed, I'd say some of Wilson's stems from the fact that he had poopy fart at WR this year, and Geno wasn't good from under center probably because he wasn't there much at all.

All jokes aside, I did notice something interesting in that spreadsheet.

Mike Glennon got sacked THIRTY SIX times. He got sacked once every 15.67 attempts.

Tyler Wilson played behind absolute SHIT and got sacked HALF as much.

That's a huge red flag, IMO.

There's different ways to look at that. More 5 to 7 step drops/deeper passes will lead to more sacks taken. Wilson threw a ton of shallow crosses and they didn't use him on as many deep drop backs. I wouldn't look too much into the sack numbers. We all know Glennon is a statue, but it's not something to look too much into.

Dude, he averaged like 3 sacks a game.

That's definitely something to look into.
