Aside from the 03 year, I found that as a Chiefs fan this past season was one of the more entertaining years. The fact that Smith will not lose you any games is what we have a problem with. He is not a qb that is going to contend for a SB, he is there just to be a conservative player, we already had that in 2010 when we got blasted in the playoffs.

No, you dont.I don't know if anyone has pointed it out to you but this has been the Chiefs M.O. for the past 30 yrs. And for that matter their entire history. For whatever reason the refuse, absolutely refuse to draft and develop a starting QB of their very own. And to make matters worse the current QB they traded for is from SF.. AGAIN!! Granted the QB class this year sucks and probably doesn't warrant that position being taken at #1 but the fact still remains that we will continue on without a home grown QB for the foreseeable future and beyond. I can't think of anything comparable to this simple fact from any team in any sport. :eek:
