Why are you leaving Perkstreet? I had heard good things about them.

I recommend Alliant Credit Union

They're good shit, other than their Money Market rates have dropped twice in the last couple of months.

No fees, no bullshit. Refund your fees from ANY ATM, which is a huge advantage.

Well they used to give me 2% cash back on all purchases if you maintain a balance of 5k... Then they decided to drop that and just give anybody 1% back on anything regardless of the balance... Then they started charging you "credits" to get your own earned cash back like 22 credits for every twenty dollars and a dollar is a credit so basically 2 bucks to get your own damn money or get your money back on some store card like wally world or restaurants ... Now they are trying some power perks shit that is garbage to me...

So I left...

Also Ally gives you 0.84 APR on 15k and 0.40 on interest checking and cash back on certain places and they have a good mobile app too and 100% free atm use anywhere (per their website)

It says cash back for shopping at 7eleven and shit like that on my map... is it a % that is so small you never notice?

It takes a couple of days for your money to post doing an ACH pull from Ally, but apparently it is faster if you do an ACH push TO Ally.

Can't confirm this myself, but after initial deposit it shouldn't really be a problem anyway.

I just have a Money Market account with Ally so I don't make purchases with it besides the occasional ATM withdrawal when I can't find a free ATM to use with my credit union.

Yea it is the same way with perkstreet... I get paid for stuff on PayPal and then once the money gets higher than 4 or 5 hundred bucks I transfer it to either my brick and mortar bank or perkstreet now.

I just like Online banks because everything is at my fingertips and you can get someone on the phone 24/7
